"For me, the Ballpark opening was like a dream turned reality. The Ballpark is the perfect facility to work on every aspect of my game, especially hitting. I couldn't tell you how many hours I have spent here hitting in the cages, and without the Ballpark I'm not sure where I would be. They have the most accommodating and friendly staff out there."

"The Ballpark is one of the most well rounded baseball training centers in Chicago. I knew Ron Cacini when he ran his own facility in Des Plaines, and it is amazing to see how he has helped expand and develop this new facility. There is so much more to offer at The Ballpark: strength and conditioning programs, visual training, instructors who have real pro baseball experience, and brand new batting machines. It has given me a great opportunity to develop and improve as a ballplayer during my off seasons. It truly is the place to be if you want to get to the next level in baseball or softball."
Yvette Healy- DePaul All-American/Head Softball Coach University Wisconsin (Big Ten Champions 2013)
“I was lucky to have an experienced infield coach, who could teach us hands-on drills while I was at DePaul. I’ve always enjoyed working with coaches that played baseball or softball at the highest level, like Ron. There are so many finer points of the game that you can pick up on when you get the opportunity to work closely with someone who truly loves the sport, and was a great athlete too.”
Matt Dennis- Bradley University Pitcher/Rocky's Pitcher
“The Ballpark really helped me reach a new level of my game. Coming into the fall when I found the Ballpark I was not really getting a lot of notice from colleges. My dream has always been to play division one baseball and see what happens from there. Many scouts saw me pitch in the summer and turned the other way and said that i did not throw hard enough yet. That kind of gave me a chip on my shoulder and made me want to work even harder. When I found the Ballpark I found a place I could go every day of the off season and really fine tune my craft. I used the pitching tunnels to work on pinpointing my pitches and also for long toss I threw hard into the back nets to try to add a few MPH to my fastball. Come spring season time I felt like I was in mid-season condition my fastball was running up in the upper 80's and I had gotten an offer from Bradley earlier that summer. The work I put in at the ballpark really helped me reach a new level of my game and it could help any ballplayer trying to reach that level as well.”
Ed Dysangco - Manager Northwest Travelers
"I want to thank The Ball Park for working with my team since 10U. The hitting instructors were great in catering to each individual player. The approach was to teach the fundamentals as a team and then take each player and work with them individually. The staff kept the players engaged and as a coach, I was able to take their teachings and extend it throughout the season. As I mentioned, The Ball Park had been instructing our boys since 10U and have been part of their baseball journey - now those same players are playing baseball as Freshman at their respective High Schools. 5 years of baseball instruction has paid off for these boys but the work does not stop there. We look forward to more training with the staff. We are happy to be part of The Ball Park Family. "
Ryan Howe- Purdue University Baseball Infielder
“The Ballpark has been like my second home ever since I was a little kid. The facility is second to none and has provided me with a place to work on my game. The employees are some of the most wonderful people you’ll meet. I was lucky enough to have The Ballpark to get me where I am today.”
Angela Schmiederer- Iowa Hawkeye Catcher
“The Ballpark is my favorite place to train back home! They have amazing facilities that have helped me stay in the game when I am on holiday and summer breaks. I am very grateful to be a part of the Ballpark family.”
Margaret Keefe- Coach of The Patriots 12U Softball Team
“I wanted to thank you for all that the Ballpark has done so far to make the patriots experience this winter wonderful. The defensive specialists have done GREAT with the girls on the days we have them and the staff at the Ballpark has been wonderful in helping us get set up and open and close tunnels during our training time and making sure we have everything we need from balls, to pitching mats etc. during training. SO THANK YOU for all of that as well. My husband and I have been to a lot of training facilities over the years with my daughter with lessons and what not and we have never received the customer service and experience like we have at the Ballpark. There is no match; the Ballpark will stay not only in our families future but in the patriots future as well.”
Doug Morrison- Director of Travel Baseball– Arlington Cardinals
"The Ballpark is truly an exceptional place to work out. With respect to service organizations, I seek out places that are committed to excellence. From the time you walk in the door, it is clear what the Ballpark is all about — Top tier customer service and expert instruction for kids in a positive environment. The Arlington Cardinals workout at BP exactly for that reason."
Kevin Higgins, proud father of Austin Higgins -- Oakland University Commit.
"Going to The Ballpark and training with Ron Cacini was one of the best decisions we made for our son's development. As a freshman in high school, our son began the journey to try and become a switch hitter to create an additional tool that might be of value to college coaches. Due to Ron's developmental approach to hitting, not only was our son able to become a switch hitter, but he parlayed that into a D1 Scholarship, Ron and the BP staff are always researching and applying new approaches to hitting and fielding but they also assist the kids in developing the mental approach that is required to succeed at a high level. In addition, Ron was instrumental in guiding us through the recruitment process which was very helpful. As a parent, it is easy to become a bit anxious and impatient at times, but thanks to Ron's guidance and positive attitude, we allowed the recruitment process to play out resulting in a positive outcome. Now that our son has achieved his goal of playing D1 baseball, the real work begins and he will be seeing a lot of Ron and the BP staff over the next few years!! If you believe your child is serious about developing their game and is willing to work, then we suggest going to the Ballpark. Thank you, Ron, as we truly appreciate all your efforts! We wish all the best to BP."
