UPDATED MARCH 30, 2020
I hope this message finds you and your family staying healthy and growing closer by finding more time to laugh together, cook together, workout together and just BE together. While this time has allowed me to reflect on what things are truly important in life, I have also learned not to take for granted the positive impact that our business has on all of us. Aside from missing the game of baseball/softball itself, it is the connection that we have among players, coaches, instructors, and parents that we are all missing so much right now. You have all been a huge part of building the success of The Ballpark, and I appreciate all of you!
With that in mind, as social distancing is now in full effect for an uncertain time-frame, our BP staff has been challenged to be creative and come up with new and safe ways to reconnect with our clients. We will be sending another email shortly with information on our new Virtual Lessons that we are offering beginning of this week, to allow clients to continue to train with our BP instructors from the comfort of their own homes. We are excited about this new offering and the opportunity it gives to the players, the instructors and our business to keep things moving forward.
As one of the many small business owners being faced with one of the biggest challenges. I cannot say enough how much we appreciate your continued support. Please feel free to email me any questions or to let me know if there is any way we can help you and your family. Be safe and know that we will all get through this together, and we WILL be back on the ballfields again soon!
Professionally in Baseball, Softball & Life,
Ron Cacini Jr.
UPDATED MARCH 19, 2020
Please be advised that effective Wednesday March 18th, the ballpark in Mt. Prospect will temporarily close until further notice.
*Please Note that there have been NO REPORTED CASES OF CORONAvirus at BP*
We have made the very difficult decision to postpone all services at this time in an effort to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, and further support the efforts of the federal, state and local health officials to limit the spread of COVID-19.
THIS CLOSURE IS TEMPORARY. We will close beginning Wed, March 18th and will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation to determine when it is safe to resume business operations.
- There is no need to contact us about cancelling your upcoming scheduled lesson or cage rental, we will make all necessary adjustments.
- All Spring Break camps and small group sessions scheduled to take place next week are cancelled. We will contact those who are registered to discuss your options.
- We will be in contact with all coaches regarding rescheduling any team training dates that are affected by this closure.
- All current memberships will be extended by the period of time that our business is closed.
Thank you again to everyone who has been so supportive of us during this time. It is with your continued support that we know we will be able to ride out this unexpected set back. We urge you to please continue to support your local small businesses during this challenging time. Please take all necessary precautions to stay healthy and continue to watch for further updates. We look forward to seeing you all again soon! Be sure to keep following us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!
